    One dead as drunk BMW driver rams five motorbikes at Saigon’s busy intersection

    The incident at the Hang Xanh Intersection in Binh Thanh District took place at around 11:10 pm, when the driver lost control of her vehicle as she was heading from Dien Bien Phu Bridge to Saigon Bridge, according to initial information gathered by Tuoi Tre(Youth) newspaper.

    The car rammed into five motorbikes at the traffic lights and did not come to a complete halt until after it crashed a taxi.

    One motorbike driver was killed on the spot, while many others were hospitalized with multiple injuries.

    The BMW driver locked herself in the car for a while after the incident, before she was taken to a local police station for a breath test and investigation.
